You will undertake set projects that will help you develop a sound understanding of the practical skills required in digital photography. During the course you will explore a range of digital photography approaches for researching, developing, documenting, communicating and contextualising visual culture ideas and responding to project briefs.
Understand the theory behind the art
Digital photography has gained recognition as a core art form. This course will introduce you to some of the theoretical and philosophical concepts of photography in relation to contemporary national and international visual culture.

How long will it take?
All our courses are available to complete as a full-time or part-time option. Our full-time option will take approximately 5-6 weeks per course. Our part-time option will take approximately 11-12 weeks per course.

All qualifications will be awarded by one of these providers. Courses completed through TANZ eCampus are industry recognised and accepted by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).
