What is on offer?
TANZ eCampus, in collaboration with the Building Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) will be offering the New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Level 6) via online delivery.
The New Zealand Diploma in Construction, with strands in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying, will give you the skills and knowledge needed to work as a construction manager, or quantity surveyor.
The first course for this programme, Introduction to Legislative and Social Environment, will run as a pilot starting on 11 November 2019.
TANZ eCampus is seeking learners for the pilot. The pilot course fee will be $230 for the 15 credit course only instead of the normal course fee of $766.

What will I learn?
There is a raft of legislative requirement to understand when working in the construction sector, including the Resource Management and Building Acts as well as district planning regulations and building consents. On top of that there is a real need to be aware of sustainable construction practice. It’s a serious business!
